From Supervisor Christopher J. Dumler – Scottsville District
I have scheduled public meetings to solicit input on the master planning process for those neighborhoods and sections of the growth areas in our district that do not have a Community Advisory Council. At these meetings, I will have representatives of the planning staff present to listen to your thoughts, ideas, and concerns about the direction the planning process for your neighborhood is taking. Don’t like that there isn’t a bus route near your neighborhood? Have a thought on sidewalks or greenspace? Come on out!
The first scheduled public hearing will be on Neighborhoods 4 and 5 (Mill Creek North and South, Avon, Lake Reynovia, etc. – every growth area portion of the Scottsville District except for Glenmore and the Village of Rivanna) and is scheduled for Monday, March 5, at 6:30 pm, Room A, 5th Street County Office Building.
County Board meetings take place on the first Wednesday of each month at 9AM and the second Wednesday of each month at 6PM. If there is anything you would like to see the board take up or have a question about, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me. I am available through email at firstname.lastname@example.org or via phone at 434-260-1123. I am always happy to meet with you to discuss your ideas and concerns. I look forward to hearing from you!
